Calendar:  The stock market has just made a tremendous drop that we felt was overdue.  Yesterday, we saw a solid bounce from an oversold condition.  We now believe it is safer to introduce new coverage of stocks and will be very active going forward.  To begin with, we plan to introduce coverage of a new Green Baron “Stock Alert” on Tuesday, August 16 after the close of trading.  We also plan to issue new coverage on at least one or two previously profiled stocks within the coming weeks.  Stay tuned, and mark your calendars for Tuesday after the close.

TheGreenBaron.com still has Free Level 2 – During trading hours, we remind our members that you can access free level 2 market maker quotes on the home page of our website.  Many of you may have noticed that Pinksheets.com and OTCMarkets.com no longer offers Level 2 quotes on most low prices stocks.  We also urge all members to invite as many people as possible to JOIN before we release what we believe will be a string of huge winners.

“Stock Pick of the Year” Update

Nuvilex, Inc.

(OTCQB: NVLX)

News Issued Yesterday!

Nuvilex’s Cell in a Box Neutralizes Severe Viral Infections

Nuvilex rallied yesterday to close at .053 per share following more positive news. In completed animal studies, encapsulated cells were shown to produce antibodies that exited the capsules providing therapeutic effect and more importantly were capable of neutralizing viral infections.  As a result, these findings represent a substantial market opportunity for Nuvilex as it offers a critical opportunity to serve unmet needs of patients.

We know members may be growing tired of hearing us pound the table on this opportunity, but our conviction will not waver despite the fact that NVLX has struggled to rally over the past month or so.  We remain confident that Nuvilex is nearing a point where major money will come into the stock.  Please be patient.  The stock market has been under tremendous pressure yet NVLX is holding firm here.  This is a stock that can return triple digit returns quickly, and we still believe it is coming soon.

SILVER SPRING, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Nuvilex, Inc. (OTCQB: NVLX) announced today its flagship live-cell encapsulation technology can be successfully used to produce therapeutic antibodies. In completed animal studies, encapsulated cells were shown to produce antibodies that exited the capsules providing therapeutic effect and more importantly were capable of neutralizing viral infections.

This research, along with other studies, paves the way for a novel, live-cell, antibody-based, immunotherapy to treat a variety of simple to severe viral and non-viral diseases. Use of the Cell in a Box platform may render antibody-based treatments cost-effective, avoid side effects associated with use of large antibody doses, and reduce unwanted responses to the therapy. As a result, these findings represent a substantial market opportunity for Nuvilex as it offers a critical opportunity to serve unmet needs of patients.

The Cell in a Box™ technology offers a means to achieve long-term, continuous production of antibodies after implantation, thereby avoiding the peaks and valleys associated with antibody treatment. Death prevention was found in virally-infected mice after implantation of encapsulated live cells secreting a neutralizing antibody against lethal viruses. Incredibly, lifesaving intervention was successful even when the encapsulated cell implantation. Furthermore, studies have shown that the critical antibody produced can be measured for at least 3 months after initial placement of the encapsulated antibody–producing cells. Thus, this therapy has the potential to treat moderate to life-threatening human and animal viral diseases even after the disease has already been established.

In a recent presentation at the International Congress on Infectious Diseases, SG Austria and its academic partner, the National University of Singapore, presented important data demonstrating encapsulated cells were capable of producing antibodies against the newest North American viral threat, West Nile virus. The data showed that the antibodies could freely exit the capsules.

Dr. Robert F. Ryan, Nuvilex’s President and CEO, said, “This technology has the ability to enhance and advance antibody therapies already in use in the clinic, including those used to treat life-threatening viral infections. Furthermore, encapsulated cells may prove useful in antibody-based treatments against cancer. The potential to use this therapeutic modality through the creation of 'factories' of encapsulated, live-cells continuously producing antibodies able to neutralize viral infections or other specific proteins, will be a medical miracle with the potential to save countless lives. We look forward to advancing this huge prospective therapeutic opportunity as soon as possible.”
